Last October, homeschool highschool graduate Hannah booked me for a senior session! We headed to Kensington Metro Park, where we found the most beautiful locations around Kent Lake.

I was so excited to bring her here! There was no shortage of charming grass fields, walkways, and bridges. There were plenty of opportunities for unique shots!

The day was absolutely gorgeous. The sunlight was so soft, perfect for capturing the natural sweet personality of this beautiful grad!

Now that she is done with high school, Hannah is taking her dancing career to the next level. She’s headed to Ballet Magnificat in Mississippi, where she will be a Trainee Level 2!

She is so fun to be around, and is also very involved with her church. Ballet Magnificat, you’re in for a real treat! Hannah will be such a great addition to your school.

During the shoot, Hannah was willing to try anything! With the grace of a dancer, she handled each pose beautifully. You did such a wonderful job!

We took some of the best photos of the shoot with some tall grasses in the foreground. I love the depth that this technique brings!

We also used the magic of backlight for a romantic and dreamy effect. With the light behind her, Hannah’s photos turned out so whimsical. Doesn’t it look fabulous?

Hannah loved her graduation photos so much that I also took some pictures of her in her ballet clothes! That session happened in April, so stay tuned for the results!
